Gamby Hospital-Bahir Dar, Amhara Cleft Programme August 2024

In August 2024, seventy-two children from across the Amhara region, traveling for up to three days, arrived at Gamby Hospital to receive life-changing cleft lip and palate treatment. This inspiring film follows the journey of the children apart of this programme alongside the journey of Mulu and her baby, as they travel to the hospital for transformative treatment for the baby’s cleft condition. Of the children who arrived, 48 received treatment, while 12 were found to be too malnourished and instead received vital nutritional support.
