The Great Ethiopian Run 2024

In November 2024, a team representing Project Harar participated in the Great Ethiopian Run, raising crucial funds to provide access to cleft lip and palate treatment for children across Ethiopia.

The Great Ethiopian Run is an annual 10-kilometre running event held primarily in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. However, the event also allows participants to join internationally, making it possible for runners to take part from anywhere in the world. Each participant fundraised for Project Harar and then completed the 10km run!

We are incredibly grateful to have taken part in this inspiring event again and are immensely proud of our dedicated team of 6 runners in Ethiopia and 22 runners taking part remotely who helped raise vital funds for our work.

Thank you to our Patron, Simon Goodenough (bottom left and right) and the rest of the DSP runners for taking part in the Project Harar team!
